FAQs
Rebels Ranch FAQ
From turnout and lessons to additional care, here you’ll find everything you need to know about how we handle the practical side of things at Rebels Ranch.
What are the stable opening hours?
The stable is open daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
What feed do the horses receive, and can I provide my own feed or supplements?
Our horses are provided with unlimited forage and concentrate feed twice a day as standard. If your horse requires different feed or additional supplements, we’re happy to accommodate this. You provide and keep these in stock, and we’ll feed them to your horse as agreed.
How is turnout arranged?
Five days a week, we take care of turning the horses out and bringing them back in. You can let us know which time slot you prefer for your horse’s turnout, and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences.
Would you prefer your horse to use the horse walker instead of the paddock? That’s also possible. You can also choose for your horse to use only the horse walker on rainy days, so you can decide what works best for your horse.
Can I use my own farrier and other equine professionals?
Yes. You’re free to use your own farrier. Other equine professionals, such as your own veterinarian, equine dentist, physiotherapist or osteopath, are also welcome to visit the stable.
Can I bring my own instructor?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own instructor to Rebels Ranch. Lessons are arranged in advance so we can take into account how busy the arena is. We allow a maximum of one lesson at a time, ensuring there is plenty of space and a relaxed environment for all riders.
What additional care services can I book?
In addition to the standard care, you can book a range of extra services, such as putting on and taking off rugs and leg protection for turnout.
Going on holiday? We can provide some extra care for your horse while you’re away. This can include additional exercise in the horse walker, an Equissage treatment, or a thorough grooming or wash. That way, you can relax knowing your horse is getting all the care and attention they need while you’re away.
Can I visit before reserving a stall?
Absolutely! We actually prefer to meet you first and show you around the stable and facilities. This gives you the chance to take your time and see whether Rebels Ranch feels like the right fit for you and your horse.
How many boarding spaces are available at Rebels Ranch?
At Rebels Ranch, a total of 29 stalls are available for boarding and training horses. Our own horses are kept in a separate stable. We intentionally keep our boarding stable at a manageable size, allowing us to offer personal attention, close communication and a welcoming atmosphere.
